The national blood supply remains at critically low levels.
The American Red Cross is urging blood and platelet donors to give now to ensure lifesaving medical procedures are not delayed.
Regional Communications Manager Laura McGuire says this month blood drives have been canceled in nearly every state where the Red Cross collects blood.
McGuire says nearly 15,000 donations have gone uncollected this month alone.
Blood drives are happening February 5th and 6th at Faith Lutheran Church in Janesville, and February 13th at the United Auto Worker 95 Union Hall.
