Low and moderate-income taxpayers can get help filing their taxes at no cost, and with no appointment at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
The College of Business and Economics is offering free volunteer income tax assistance.
Associate Professor of Accounting Brian Huels says the VITA clinic takes place on Wednesdays through April 10th from 3:30 until 6:00 p.m. in the Community Engagement Center on campus.
In addition to providing hands-on experience for graduate and undergraduate accounting students, the free VITA clinic helps residents of Whitewater and surrounding communities.
