JP Cullen excited to get to work on WSCC

With the contract officially awarded last week, JP Cullen is beginning the process of getting to work on the Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center.
Co-President Jeannie Cullen Schultz says now they reach out to subcontractors and trade partners, and working out bids and they’ll have a kickoff meeting with the city once those are awarded to review the project schedule.
Cullen Schultz says anytime you get to do a unique building like an ice arena it’s an exciting thing, and they’re just coming off completing work at the Bakke Center at UW-Madison, which also features an ice sheet so they have some experience to lean on.
Demolition on the former Sears’ building is expected to happen late this winter or early spring.
