Ginseng is one of Wisconsin’s most unique specialty crops and distinguishes the diversity of our agricultural products. It is one of the commodities in which Wisconsin ranks #1, but it is highly sought after all around the world. Wisconsin produces 98% of all cultivated ginseng in the United States with a majority being grown in Marathon County. Sarah will share some ways that we can enjoy high quality ginseng here in Wisconsin and the rich heritage of ginseng farming in our state.
