Ryan is originally from Beloit, Wisconsin and graduated from The University of Wisconsin Stout. He got his start as an actor and comedy writer at The Second City in Chicago. He went on to perform and study as an actor/writer with Improv Olympic, The Free Associates, The Piven Theatre Workshop, and Acting Studio Chicago in Chicago. Since relocating to Los Angeles, he graduated from the ACME Sketch Comedy writing program and is a Main Stage Company alum.
