The ride is in memory of Larry Bassett who died of liver cancer in 2020.
All proceeds go to an amazing charity “Hogs for Heroes”. Hogs for Heroes is a Wisconsin only nonprofit dedicated to healing the mental and physical wounds suffered during active duty by our Wisconsin military veterans through therapeutic benefits of owning and riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Hogs for Heroes set an initial goal of giving one Harley a year to change one life a year, They raised their first dollar in 2015 and gave away the first Harley in the spring of 2016, by 2023 they had given away 41 motorcycles, far exceeding expectations, and plan to give away another 9 Harleys in 2024.
