Sophie’s gift benefit

Sophie’s gift benefit is a collaboration between the rock county humane society and Brian Hughes of Bazinga classic pub and grille. The proceeds go into a fund at the humane society to be used when people cannot afford a treatment or test for theier forever friend. The benefit includes silent auction, raffles, 3 bands throughout the day. 100% of the proceeds will go to the fund. this fundraiser came about when the owner of Bazinga, Brian’s dog Sophie got sick with lymphoma. He tried everything available to help her, but the cancer took his beloved. During this time Brian saw family after family go out of the animal hospital crushed because they could not afford to help their pets.
Thus the Sophie’s gift benefit was born. Brian hopes to be able to make this an annual event. benefit takes place at Bazinga classic pub and grille on Sunday (no packer game) October 23 from 1-9 p.m. The first band will play at 1:30. See facebook for all the details under Sophia gift benefit.
