Grab a spoon and make a difference at “Soup’s On!”, a flavorful fundraising event supporting the Edgerton Community Outreach (ECO) Food Pantry. The 8th annual event will take place Saturday, February 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Edgerton High School, bringing together neighbors, local restaurants, and home chefs for a spirited and delicious competition.
Guests will have the chance to sample over 25 unique soups crafted by local restaurants and talented home cooks, and vote for the coveted “People’s Taste Award”.
From classic comfort flavors to creative new recipes, attendees will enjoy a variety of soups while helping raise critical funds to support ECO’s mission of fighting hunger and strengthening the Edgerton community.
Tickets are available in advance at Edgerton Outreach for $12 or $15 at the event. In addition to the soup tasting, Outreach’s famous homemade pies can be pre-ordered, making it easy to take home a sweet treat while supporting a great cause. Pies can also be delivered locally when ordered in advance from edgertonoutreach.org or by calling Sarah at 608-884-9593.
Be sure to follow the Outreach Facebook page to learn what kinds of soups will be available as we get closer to the event.
“Soup’s On!” promises to be a fun, family-friendly event that brings the community together for good food and an even better purpose. All proceeds will benefit the Food Pantry, helping ensure that local families have access to nutritious meals when they need them most.
