Historic Argyle will host a special presentation titled “The History of Cheesemaking in the Argyle Area” on Sunday, March 15. The event will take place at The Legacy of Argyle, located downtown at the corner of East Milwaukee and State Street. Admission is a free-will donation. Doors will open at 1:00 PM, and the presentation will begin at 1:30 PM. The program will conclude at approximately 3:00 PM.The presentation will be led by Paul Vassalotti, a Wisconsin cheesemaking historian from Cross Plains. In addition to the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of cheeses from local cheese factories.
