6/11/21 Edie Baran and Tim Maahs Unveiling of newly refreshed Lincoln-Tallman House

All are invited to stroll through the newly restored Lincoln-Tallman House, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, and listen to the sounds of the Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra at the 2021 Summer Solstice garden party on June 23. The event will be held from 6 – 9 p.m.at the Rock County Historical Society (RCHS) campus, 440 N. Jackson St., Janesville. White attire is encouraged.

The evening will begin by welcoming guests into the Lincoln-Tallman House to view interior work that has been completed on the mansion over the past year. Thanks to a grant from the George Kemp Tallman Charitable Trust, ten areas of the historic home were restored with a fresh coat of paint, and repairs to plaster, shutters, flooring and windows. It is the first time since the 1990s that work of this significance has been completed on the Lincoln-Tallman House. c join join the show to discuss this event.
